¡Campamento para
la Familia!
Agosto 14-16, 2009
Alfredo Adams (Tampa)
Maestro para las sesiones Bíblicas se anunciara.
We have been getting lots of calls wondering if
camp is full.
The fact is that our camper count is about 60 campers lower than last
year.
There is room in every camp and skiing available in every camp.
Part of the confusion for some is the MAY 1 deadline for receiving a
$10 discount if you pay in full.
Folks sometimes think that we stop taking applications after May 1. Actually,
we keep accepting campers until the camp is full. Sometimes campers enjoy
week one so much they apply to come back for week two (when space is avaialable).
If the $10 discount would make a difference for you, we will continue
to honor the paid in full discount through May 20 IF REQUESTED.

The economy has not only affected our camper count
but our staff as well. We have a lot of staff members that are only able
to serve for part of the summer. We have fewer all-summer staff and more
week-at-a-time staff. We are short as many as 20 staff members for some
weeks. Most of our weekly staff have served on all-summer staff in High
School and/or been Collegians. Others are adults with children of camper
age that are involved in their local assembly (church) and work with AWANA
or other children's clubs. We place a trained staff member with new weekly
staff so they have a ready resource available to them. If you are interested
in serving but have questions please give a call to Camp Horizon. Background
screening takes time - and the clock is ticking!
We are still accepting applications for the following positions.
