The annual Canoe Trips are a good opportunity for Fathers to spend some time mentoring their Sons & Daughters away from the confines of work and school.
This year Camp Horizon is offering two scheduled Canoe trips one for Father-Son and one for Father-Daughter. This is a chance to get you and your kids away from the electronics and responsibilities of work and school and spend some time together in the natural beauty of God's creation. Get your gear together to spend some time paddling along the Ocklawaha River to a reserved campsite where you will spend the night under the stars.
Along with time spent mentoring your kids you will have an opportunity to connect with fellow Christian men from around the state and your kids will get to make friends and form bonds as they adventure together. The Saturday evening campfire is a good place to share your conversion stories with your children as well as with your other canoers, not to mention the s'mores.
